​A personnel from the Directorate of Personnel, Ministry of Defence chose Islam as her new faith at a conversion ceremony held at Kampung Sungai Damit, Tutong District, 19th December afternoon.

Private Norsyaheerah Azurien binti Sahrezal embraced Islam together with her two siblings. Present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya'akub, Member of the Legislative Council, and Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer.
